Lost War

She may have won the battle, but she lost the war.

This is my entry for WinxClub-MissMagix 2018's second round : "War Goddess". This theme again, wasn't easy because like last time "war" isn't something Lux is supposed to have any part in. Except for that one. Even if in my mind she didn't have an armor.

Long story short : this is how Lux dies : by attacking soldiers, who of course defended themselves.

Her sister just got murdered by an anarchist while they were trying to bring peace between the Dragonist and the Children of the Night. While she normally can suppress her emotion, the pain was too much and Lux lost control. She went berserk and attacked the Dragonist on her own. While she's immune to magic, weapons are effective against her. She died from her wounds a bit later.

The story is much longer and if you really want to understand the context and the events I suggest that you read this journal (sections "The Holy War" and "Death")

Side notes :

- The bloody spear she holds is the one that killed Nyx (her sister).
- She has both Yin and Yang magic because if a guardian dies, her magic is transferred to the twin as an automatic defense system.
- She died from her wounds but would have died anyway since a guardian can't survive past 24h if the other one is dead to avoid unbalance.
- Lux doesn't have wings (she isn't a fairy). So her armor has mechanical ones so she can fly. Also since she's not a soldier, the armor was just for show... Thus it didn't protect it well.
- Lux is around 30 here, so she has longer hair.
